Born on 6 December 1988, Jadeja hails from Navagam Ghed in Jamnagar district, Gujarat, and belongs to a Gujarati Hindu Rajput family. .His father, Anirudh, worked as a watchman for a private security agency and aspired for Jadeja to become an Army officer. However, Jadeja’s passion lay in cricket, though he feared his father during his childhood. In 2005, Jadeja faced a significant trauma when his mother, Lata, died in an accident, nearly leading him to abandon his cricketing dreams. He has a sister, Naina, who is a nurse. Currently, he resides in Jamnagar.
